AWLA Volunteers

The Australian Wild Law Alliance is run entirely by volunteers, including our National Convenor and Board of Management.

Meet the ‘AWLA Vollies’

AWLA’s National Convenor, Michelle Maloney, is based in Brisbane and is assisted by a fantastic group of student volunteers, from across Brisbane’s three universities – Griffith University, University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology.  The ‘AWLA Vollies’ help out with projects such as maintaining the AWLA website, processing membership forms, proving support at events, carrying out research and other tasks.  The National Convenor and ‘AWLA Vollies’ meet every month  in Brisbane, to catch up on work projects and plan for future events and activities.  If you’d like to join their meetings, or find out more – please send an email to convenor@wildlaw.org.au or call Michelle on 0419 497 596.  You don’t need to be in Brisbane to help out – ‘virtual’ teams are very welcome!
